Projet Beach Clean-up and Community Education in Saint Louis du Nord
This project was carried out in Saint-Louis du Nord in the summer of 2017 in collaboration with the Municipality, local partners, and the diaspora with the aim of:
• Promoting better hygiene and the disposal of waste in pre-designated areas;
• Building a coalition of eco-citizens;
• Cleaning the beach and other selected sites in the city and improving the quality of life in Saint-Louis du Nord;
• Creating short-term jobs for the most vulnerable citizens by integrating them into cleaning brigades.
