Project name: Proposal for the Implementation of Complementary Activities in the Trois Baies National Park (PN3B) – UNDP
Duration: 3 months, starting from August 2017
This activity was implemented with the aim of strengthening initiatives developed in the field of ecotourism kayaking in the Three Bays National Park. It was funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The Objectives were to:
• Make more trained tour guides and kayaking experts available;
• Provide visitors with an illustrative and easy-to-use booklet;
• Assist in the interpretation of kayaking excursion route points.
Activities
• Train twenty (20) people in kayaking and business management;
• Train twenty (20) people as tour guides;
• Produce one (1) highly illustrated booklet on the Three Bays Park, particularly focusing on the history of Fort Liberté Bay;
• Develop signboards indicating the kayaking excursion route points.
